About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for creating a high performing sales team through hiring, developing, training and managing a team of Product Specialists to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals. The Sales Manager specializes in in-home one call close sales and is responsible for ensuring their team delivers world class service and the company maintains an excellent reputation by meeting customer needs and promptly and effectively resolving any customer issues throughout the sales cycle.

  • Proficiency in CRM software will enable you to provide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.

Responsibilities

  • Direct, manage and drive performance of a team of up to 15 Product Specialists to achieve sales and efficiency targets to budget.
  • Hire, develop and manage a Field Sales Manager, if sales team meets budget requirement of 10 Product Specialists and executive approval is received.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to develop team, including answering all team calls while leads are in the field.
  • Conduct ride-alongs, accompanying Product Specialists in the field for at least 32 leads per week to provide training and ensure adherence to company guidelines.
  • Observe, evaluate and correct presentations; document each observed lead with a completed ride-along report, which is then shared with the Product Specialist and Regional Director of Sales.
  • Hold weekly BPR meetings with team to ensure team is motivated, pacing to goal and following company procedures, featuring an Demonstrates appropriate meeting behavior
  • Attend, participate and prepare for all sales meetings.
  • Track, understand and analyze sales metrics
