About The Position
The Bath Authority is seeking an Installation Technician (Installer) responsible for site preparation, carpentry work, and the installation of all TBA product lines. As a representative of the company, the Installer will manage crew behavior and performance, with evaluations based on customer feedback and online reviews. This role involves reviewing work jackets, confirming contract accuracy, performing site modifications, and executing various carpentry tasks. The Installer will also be responsible for demolition, material layout and cutting, maintaining a safe worksite, installing specific product lines, performing service work, collecting payments, and potentially assisting with marketing event displays. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Completion of the Apprentice Development Program.
- Minimum of 3-6 months of in-field training prior to promotion.
- Post Installation customer service survey score of 90% or better.
- Achieve a certain percentage of positive online reviews for installed jobs.
- Responsible for crew efficiency in accordance with GDI guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Act as a company representative, responsible for crew behavior and performance, and evaluated on customer feedback and online reviews.
- Review work jacket with supervisor.
- Confirm accuracy of breakout in accordance with customer contract.
- Perform site prep, including modifications to the existing structure.
- Complete carpentry work such as deck modifications, dormer installation, overhang cutoffs, wood knee wall builds, wall alterations, floor and ridge plates, and finish carpentry.
- Install simple and complex decks.
- Perform demolition.
- Layout and cut all materials for installation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
- Install All View, ComfortView, and Solarium products.
- Complete basic carpentry duties such as dormer attachment, fascia removal, standard fascia attachment, and build simple decks.
- Perform demolition of old rooms.
- Perform service work.
- Collect necessary stage payments from customers when applicable.
- Potentially responsible for set up, take down, and repair of displays for marketing events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
