About The Position
We are seeking Mill/Mixer Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. We will train the right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the machine to TPM Standards, learning and applying TPM knowledge to daily activities, weighing up batches by following the process order of addition, and mixing batches by discharging pigment and operating the mixer safely while following and adhering to all INX Mixer SOP's. You will also be responsible for Hockmeyer mill operation, running and maintaining optimum OEE (overall equipment effectiveness) standards, creating and maintaining a database of all existing formulas including processing times, canning, operating press out units, pump filter equipment, and forklifts. Additionally, you will act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data, completing scheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures, and helping with repacks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or (GED) desired
- 3 months of work related experience
- Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Be reliable to work assigned shift
- Be flexible to work overtime as required
- Have a strong Autonomous Maintenance (AM) background.
- Be able to perform an active role with any multi disciplinary teams.
- Good attendance and punctuality
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience, but we can train you
- Mixing, Mill, and Pump filter industry background
- Previous experience within the Ink Industry
Responsibilities
