Batch Plant Operator
About The Position
Operate one or several types of power construction equipment that is part of the batch plant. This role involves operating a variety of vehicles and large heavy equipment while performing maintenance and repairs on the batch plant, batching concrete, and supporting powder delivery unloading. The operator will also assist with mix designs and ensure equipment is properly maintained regarding fluid levels and lubrication. Additionally, the role may involve instructing and training other employees on safe equipment operation and job techniques, as well as inspecting equipment and materials to identify defects.
Requirements
- Experience using Command Aljon Operating Systems
- Working knowledge skills and abilities for position
- Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with management/supervision
- Experience in batching concrete with Command Alkon operating systems
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently
- Able to meet all physical requirements
- Must have all required tools
- Expected to climb and work at heights and in confined spaces (may exceed 200 ft)
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload
Nice To Haves
- May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with previous years of experience in the field or in a related area.

- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Manage Batch Plant materials which requires ordering materials for concrete pours
- Use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently
- Observe and comply with all safety and project rules
- Perform other duties as required
