About The Position

The County Materials Family of Companies manufactures and delivers concrete construction products to meet the demand for growing communities. Since 1946, we've relied on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Batch Plant Operator for County Prestress at our Romeoville, IN location.

Requirements

• General understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good math skills - Attention to detail
• Ability and willingness to learn and be trained
• Safety-minded when performing tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined and ability to stand for the entire shift

Nice To Haves

• Ability to operate forklift or other mobile equipment preferred, not required.
• Experience in the construction and/or building materials industry preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the machine is kept clean and well maintained at all times
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot the machine as needed
• Work closely with Plant Supervisor, making sure that all concrete batches are produced in alignment with the production schedule.
