The Compounding Operator is crucial for ensuring timely batch production to prevent line downtime. This role requires maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace, accurately completing production batch sheets and quality paperwork. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, eager to learn, identify improvement opportunities, and have the drive to implement them safely.

Requirements

Good listening and interpersonal communication skills.
Basic proficiency in math.
Ability to read and interpret recipes, weights, and measures.
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Effective team leadership capabilities.
Ability to safely operate a forklift.
1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification.
Bilingual in English and Spanish.
High School diploma.

Responsibilities

Blend batches of powders and liquids following batching sheets and SOPs; accurately weigh and measure ingredients using a scale.
Operate machines, diaphragm/electric pumps, mixers, and packaging equipment, ensuring smooth and efficient production.
Perform routine quality testing and document daily production performance and issues.
Disassemble, clean, reassemble, and set up all required equipment; make light mechanical adjustments to ensure optimal operation.
Pull and organize materials necessary for production, verifying the materials to be used.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and contribute to overall organization efficiency.
Perform all other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Complete all required safety training and consistently follow safe work practices at all times.
