The Batch Operator Lead will guide the team in blending powders and liquids in the Batch Room. This role involves blending chemicals, requiring strict adherence to safety procedures and the use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace is essential. The Batch Operator Lead must follow batch sheet instructions and manage associated inventory transactions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, eager to learn, and possesses strong attention to detail.

Requirements

5+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
Extended periods of standing
Frequently lifts and moves items weighing up to 60 pounds

Responsibilities

Lead the team in blending batches of liquids and powders following batch work orders
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met throughout the tank farm area
Lead the Batch Operators, ensuring they are working safely with chemicals
Pulling and organizing materials necessary to produce finished good batches
Training/developing Batch Operators
Performing inventory transactions in SYSPRO to ensure chemicals are allocated properly and inventory is accurate
Safely operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse as needed
