About The Position

The primary requirement of this position is the operation of the batch-off and packaging of mixed compound. The hours of operation for this role are 2:45pm-11:00pm. This role offers growth potential within a team-oriented environment and a dynamic culture.

Requirements

One or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment
High School or GED preferred
Willing to work overtime including weekends
Close visual work required.
Knowledge of general computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
The ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
Capable of maintaining quality control by monitoring production output.
Ability to identify any issues with the product or process.

Responsibilities

Refill batch dip
Maintain and operate bar code printer
Operate computer control system
Maintain proper slab dip levels for the compound being mixed.
Clean Batch-off bars and dip tank on a weekly basis.
Clean out gear pump head and assist with setting up next one.
Clean packaging containers prior to packaging compounds.
Ensure loop lengths are set accordingly for the recipe being mixed.
Ensure rubber compound meets customer specs and is packaged in the proper container neatly.
Operation of Pelletizer.
Following all safety procedures and guidelines along with assisting in modifying and updating procedures
Operating a forklift for various functions.
