About The Position

Clarke in Schaumburg, IL is hiring a Batch/Chemical Mixer to help make mosquito control products that protect public health. This role is crucial in ensuring products are made correctly and on time. The Batch Mixer will be responsible for mixing and measuring ingredients, operating equipment, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with product shipment. Additionally, they will report production numbers, support customer inquiries, and ensure adherence to packaging and chemical safety standards. The work directly contributes to protecting lives and making communities safer and more comfortable.

Requirements

• High School/GED required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment required.
• Tolerance to various chemical odors required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to perform housekeeping activities (i.e., inventory placement, etc.) and all other duties as assigned.
• Ability to effectively partner with employees, management, department, and cross functional teams to meet performance objectives and to support the mission and vision of the Company.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 1-3 years of related experience in Specialty Chemicals, Food Processing, Pharmaceutical, or Organic industries preferred.
• Hands-on experience with liquid chemical blending and granular/tablet manufacturing preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work within an accredited quality environment (i.e., Lean Manufacturing, ISO, etc.).
• Batch processing experience a plus.
• Previous experience operating a forklift experience preferred.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
