About The Position

Crafco, Inc. is seeking a Batch Maker & Packaging Line Operator on 2nd shift at our supply center in Edmond, OK. The Mix/Batch Maker & Packaging Line Operator is responsible for the batching, measuring, and mixing of materials, as well as the proper operation of the manufacturing equipment on the packaging line. They are responsible for ensuring Crafco products are produced to the guidelines set by production control and/or materials engineering to meet specification conformance. We are hiring for 2nd shift, hours are approximately 3:00pm - 11:30pm with overtime available. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 months - 1 year of experience in batch materials production, manufacturing or related.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Exceptional safety awareness.
  • Read, understand and accurately execute instructions.
  • Basic math, familiarity with weights and measurements units.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions including but not limited to: standing, sitting, bending, squatting, or remaining in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time, lifting/moving large, bulky and/or heavy items frequently (50 lbs. or more), working in adverse conditions including hot/cold both indoors and outdoors and/or in inclement weather.
  • Able to work occasional overtime and Saturday hours, as needed.
  • Ability for local travel, if needed.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US and have a valid driver's license.

  • Operating forklifts once trained & certified.

Responsibilities

  • Mix various components of the product per batch form following all instructions as detailed by sealant engineering.
  • Verify all weights and measurements to ensure accuracy.
  • Responsible for the efficient mixing and operation of the equipment to ensure proper batching times.
  • Correctly complete production batch forms.
  • Maintain work area in a clean orderly fashion informing supervisor of any equipment problems.
  • Train others working in sealer manufacturing, as needed.
  • Perform assigned duties in a safe, professional manner, cooperating with other departments, and inform the supervisor of any items which will affect quality, safety, schedule, attitude or performance of assigned duties.
  • Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of paperwork, as required.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor including operating forklifts once trained & certified.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and various shifts when needed.
