About The Position
Conagra Brands is looking for a Batch Deck Operator to join their growing team. The role involves batching raw ingredients according to product specifications while maintaining food safety, quality, and production standards. This is an onsite position located in Rensselaer, Indiana. The operator will report to the Batch Deck Lead.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One year of manufacturing experience.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at elevated heights.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous batching, bulk receiving, or food manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Batch ingredients according to specifications and production schedules.
- Operate and monitor batch deck equipment and related processing systems.
- Complete quality checks and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Perform routine equipment inspections, sanitation, and product changeovers.
- Accurately complete production and inventory records.
- Communicate equipment, process, and production issues to leadership.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
