About The Position
The Rochester City School District (RCSD) is seeking a Freshman Boys Basketball Head Coach for Monroe/School Without Walls. The coach will be responsible for leading the freshman boys' basketball program, adhering to current practices, rules, principles, and technical skills of the sport. The role involves recruiting and sustaining the program, and requires a commitment of 10-20 hours per week, dependent on meetings and practices.
Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date First Aid certification.
- Valid and up-to-date CPR certification.
- Valid and up-to-date AED certification.
- Valid and up-to-date Concussion Management certification.
- Valid and up-to-date DASA certification.
- NYS Coaching certification.
- Completed an internship for the particular sport OR possess a temporary or permanent NYS coaching license for the particular sport.
- Proof of NYS fingerprinting clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Head/assistant coaching experience at the Modified level or equivalent credentials.
- Valid Concussion Management Certificate.
- Previous Coaching Experience.
