About The Position
BASIS Scottsdale is seeking qualified candidates for a Basketball Coach. This role is part of an auxiliary program and is not a full-time position. The coaching period is from November 3rd to February 5th, 2027. BASIS Ed offers competitive hourly pay for this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previous coaching experience
- Experience working with young athletes
- Ability to demonstrate basketball skills effectively
- Experience in playing basketball at a competitive level
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree
- Collegiate student-athlete experience
Responsibilities
- Effectively teaching young athletes the fundamentals of basketball (starting from how to shoot a ball properly)
- Creating and implementing drills to help build foundational skills
- Coaching students through best practices in sportsmanship
- Attending all games, practices, or scrimmages
