About The Position

This role involves performing welding tasks based on instructions, blueprints, drawings, and work orders. The welder will be responsible for setting up equipment, preparing surfaces, and executing welds. The position also includes maintaining inventory, reporting accidents, and ensuring prompt attendance. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor, and maintaining a clean and safe work area is essential.

Requirements

• Must have prior MIG/TIG work experience
• Must be able to demonstrate good welding ability with minimal training.
• Must have basic math skills
• Must have good hand/eye coordination

Responsibilities

• Work from verbal instructions / blue prints / drawings and/or work orders.
• Setup equipment / prepare surfaces to be welded /weld parts.
• Must be able to use hand tools such as grinders, etc.
• Maintain inventory of parts used in area.
• Must report all accidents/injuries to department supervisor immediately.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by the department supervisor.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly.
• Follow all safety rules, policies and procedures
