About The Position

TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is seeking an experienced Basic Military Training (BMT) Security Screener to support federal programs and provide business development. The essential duties involve certifying security clearances, maintaining internal policy, and assisting in the creation of standard operating procedures. This role requires interviewing applicants to ensure they can pass the TS clearance process through administration investigations, investigating security infractions, and providing guidance to recruiters. The screener will maintain JPAS records, obtain and analyze background information to evaluate credibility for clearance levels, and conduct one-on-one interviews. Responsibilities include documenting and preparing follow-up reports, making referral appointments per DOD guidelines, and assisting with administrative tasks to ensure data entry accuracy. The role also involves scheduling and managing workload calendars, conducting in-depth trainee interviews to assess suitability for critical careers and Top Secret or special access security clearances, and evaluating qualifications for holding a Top Secret security clearance. Adherence to Federal Adjudicative Standards, demonstrating loyalty, reliability, trustworthiness, and overall suitability for handling classified information is crucial. The screener will provide detailed recommendations to the Government and make referrals to the Behavioral Analysis Section (BAS) when applicable. Additionally, the role involves efficiently managing examination scheduling and the SharePoint site for the United States Air Force (USAF) Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP) examination program at Goodfellow Air Force Base (AFB), Texas, collaborating with the USAF, and utilizing advanced scheduling software. On-site personnel will handle logistics, maintain a secure testing environment, and provide assistance.

  • Preferred experience with the Training and Testing Management System (TTMS) and the Air Force Request for Information Support System - Task Force (AFRISS-TF).

Responsibilities

  • Certify security clearances while maintaining internal policy and helping create standard operating procedures.
  • Interview Applicants to ensure they can pass the TS clearance process by administration investigations.
  • Investigate security infractions, provide information, guidance, and assist recruiters in completing clearance paperwork, reviewing paperwork, and processing for submission to the Government.
  • Maintain JPAS records.
  • Obtain records and analyze background information to evaluate individual's credibility for assignment of clearance levels for placement in military positions.
  • Conduct one-on-one interviews with assigned individuals.
  • Document and prepare follow-up reports to confirm the eligibility of individuals.
  • Make referral appointments for individuals per DOD guidelines and instructions as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks ensuring data entry is complete and accurate.
  • Responsible for scheduling and managing workload calendar for team assignments in accordance with mission performance metrics.
  • Complete a comprehensive approach to conducting personal, in-depth trainee interviews to identify and clarify indicators of an individual's suitability or reliability for critical careers and their ability to obtain a Top Secret or special access security clearance.
  • Evaluate the trainee's qualifications for holding a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Adhere to the Federal Adjudicative Standards, ability to demonstrate loyalty, reliability, trustworthiness, and overall suitability for handling classified information.
  • Provide a detailed recommendation to the Government, with findings and conclusions regarding the trainee's qualifications.
  • Make Referrals to Behavioral Analysis Section (BAS) for comprehensive evaluation when applicable.
  • Efficiently manage examination scheduling and the SharePoint site for the United States Air Force (USAF) Counterintelligence Scope Polygraph (CSP) examination program at Goodfellow Air Force Base (AFB), Texas.
  • Collaborate closely with the USAF to understand their requirements and develop a customized examination scheduling strategy.
