About The Position

New Jersey’s premier HVAC-Plumbing-Electrical company is looking for a full-time, on-site Controls Programmer to join their team. As a family-owned and operated business, they provide personalized residential and commercial services for heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical, and indoor air quality applications. The ideal candidate will be a skilled BAS/BMS programmer fluent with the Niagara N4 platform. As a Control’s Programmer on the team, you will be responsible for programming and troubleshooting the functions of HVAC controllers. You will create front-end building and equipment graphics for a complete building automation system. You will need to build complete wire sheets for projects to be part of a submittal.

Requirements

  • 2 years of active programming on Tridium Niagara controllers such as Honeywell, Distech and similar platforms
  • Tridium Niagara N4/AX programming certification
  • Commercial HVAC controls experience
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, wire diagrams, control schematics, mechanical drawings and spec documentation.
  • Understanding of commercial HVAC equipment sequencing
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • US Citizen or Green card holder – no sponsorship available now or in the future
  • Must be able to work Mon-Fri 8 am - 5 pm, with occasional Saturdays (less than 4 per year)
  • Must be able to work on-site now and in the future, as there is no opportunity for remote work
