About The Position

This role involves demonstrating both surface and in-depth programming knowledge of various controls systems/multiplatform (e.g. Tridium, Carrier, Trane, Alerton, ALC and Johnson Controls, Siemens). The engineer will need in-depth knowledge of HVAC system operation including chillers/boilers and packaged DX systems. Responsibilities include writing sequences of operation for improved efficiency of HVAC equipment, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BAS & HVAC systems and electronics, and DDC Applications Programming (both graphical and text-based systems). The role requires the ability to read and understand mechanical plans and wiring diagrams, coordinate work with other trades, document work and procedures, and train non-technical personnel. Additionally, the engineer will utilize their technical knowledge base to advise on energy-efficient operational strategies for building systems and prepare written reports and recommendations for clients.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate both surface and in-depth programming knowledge of various controls systems/multiplatform (e.g. Tridium, Carrier, Trane, Alerton, ALC and Johnson Controls, Siemens).
