About The Position

The Bartender will be responsible for providing efficient friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top-quality bar. This role involves greeting guests, taking orders, mixing drinks according to standard recipes, and ensuring consistency in beverage presentation. The Bartender must also be familiar with the wine list, enforce liquor liability laws, accurately record transactions, and maintain cleanliness of their work area.

Requirements

Minimum 1-year bartending experience.
Developed knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer with experience selling and presenting wines.
Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers.
Ability to accurately and efficiently input information into MICROS.
Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and welcoming demeanor.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers both within and outside of your department.
Ability to prioritize, organize, and follow up on guest requests and needs in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service, service recovery, and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Provide efficient, friendly customer service.
Maintain a clean, professional, top-quality bar.
Follow, enforce, comply with, and adhere to all Omni rules, policies, procedures, standards, and recipes.
Properly set-up and maintain a clean, efficient bar throughout the shift.
Greet guests with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
Take orders and answer questions/offer suggestions on food and beverage menu selections, and daily specials.
Mix drinks for servers according to standard recipes.
Ensure consistency in the presentation and recipes of all cocktails.
Enforce all policies related to liquor liability laws.
Record transactions in the MICROS system at the time of order and adhere to cash handling standards.
Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.
Present accurate checks to guests and process payments.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day.
Polish and clean water glasses in the assigned station before opening hours.
Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
