About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company known for creating quality culinary concepts from scratch. They have expanded into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services, providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, PGA golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, and Professional Sports Teams. As the premier food service provider for Food & Beverage in all Premium/Suites Hospitality locations at Auburn University’s Jordan-Hare Stadium, Proof of the Pudding is seeking experienced Bartenders. This seasonal/part-time position involves working with the front of house team in the hospitality and club suites for football gamedays and other sporting events, with business needs dictated by athletic events.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of bartending experience
  • Must be a team player and a phenomenal communicator.
  • Must be experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
  • Must have exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be TIPs certified (will accept similar accredited certifications).
  • Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
  • Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 40 lbs.
  • Renowned time management and organization skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.
  • The ability to work alone and as a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Must have impeccable integrity for the business, the community, and the Proof of the Pudding team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/break down responsibilities.
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner.
  • Communicates well with bar back during event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
  • Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
  • Responsible for placing all items back in bar box as originally received.
  • Performs other related duties as required
