You'll play an important role in creating a warm, enjoyable atmosphere for residents and guests while serving beverages, appetizers, and providing outstanding service in our Light Horse Lounge. Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or at least 16 years of age.
  • Certification in mixology.
  • Minimum one year of bartending experience in an upscale environment.
  • Ability to accurately operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to walk long distances, bend, reach, grasp objects, and push carts up to 100 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Current RAMP certification.
  • Experience working in hospitality, dining services, or senior living environments.

Responsibilities

  • Greet residents and guests with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
  • Serve cocktails, wine, appetizers, and desserts in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Upsell featured drinks, appetizers, and dessert offerings.
  • Handle resident and guest concerns professionally and appropriately.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently.
  • Record sales and process orders correctly.
  • Complete daily inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Maintain daily bar logs and document any issues, shortages, or breakage.
  • Measure and serve all beverages according to established standards.
  • Verify accuracy of all food and beverage orders.
  • Identify menu items and allergens to assist residents and guests.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and organizational policies.
  • Keep the lounge, bar area, tables, and service stations clean, sanitary, and presentable at all times.
  • Prepare and label fresh garnishes daily.
  • Complete daily cleaning assignments and temperature logs.
  • Restock glassware, barware, and supplies as needed.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, ensuring all areas are secure.
  • Demonstrate positive, cooperative relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Maintain professionalism and resident confidentiality.
  • Follow departmental procedures and organizational policies.
  • Organize workloads effectively and meet established deadlines.
