About The Position

The Bartender creates a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable guest experience by engaging with guests, recommending cocktails, and preparing classic and innovative drinks. The role involves providing courteous service, monitoring legal alcohol consumption, staying knowledgeable about food and beverage offerings and industry trends, and supporting guest satisfaction and revenue. The bartender also maintains a stocked, clean, and sanitary bar; serves safely; handles cash and credit appropriately; follows hotel policies and procedures; and observes safety and security practices, anticipating problems and contacting management when needed.

Requirements

At least 3 years of progressive food and beverage or bartending experience.
Current ServSafe certificate or alcohol certification is required.
Fluency in English and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work long hours and stand for long periods without sitting or leaning.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly to move objects.
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with the body and arms.
Ability to work in variable temperatures and noise levels and in a high-energy, high-stress environment.
Near vision sufficient to see details at close range.
Ability to multitask.
