About The Position

Responsible for the preparation and service of beverages in the Club's bar, lounge, and patio, as well as at Member events. Delivers refined, personalized service consistent with the standards of a private Member-owned club. Ensures satisfaction of all Members and guests at all times.

Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant, hotel, or private club
Current RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification and Food Handler card, or ability to obtain
Must be at least 21 years of age
Flexible availability; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

TIPS or equivalent alcohol service certification preferred

Responsibilities

Prepares and serves classic and craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to Club recipes and standards.
Maintains thorough knowledge of the Club's wine list, spirits selection, and seasonal beverage offerings to make informed recommendations to Members and guests.
Checks identification and monitors alcohol consumption, refusing service responsibly and in compliance with California ABC regulations and Club policy.
Maintains a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar station; completes opening and closing side work, including inventory counts and requisitions.
Accurately processes Member account charges via the Club's point-of-sale system.
Builds genuine rapport with Members and their guests, learning names and preferences to deliver consistently personalized service.
Provides bar service for tournaments, private events, banquets, and Member functions as scheduled.
Performs a multitude of different duties and helps others when the occasion arises due to fluctuating demands of the Club's operation.
Maintains full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Ensures all staff is in proper uniform and meets grooming standards.
Assists in beverage inventory as needed.
Coordinates closely with servers, food runners, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless, well-timed service.
