About The Position

ROOTS OCEAN PRIME (PRINCETON, NJ), part of Harvest Restaurants, is seeking experienced part time or full time BARTENDERS! We are looking for individuals who are friendly, energetic and highly motivated, who thrive in a team setting! A slight variation of our Roots Concept which operates in Summit, Morristown, and Ridgewood, offering an impressive menu of the freshest local seafood, prime cuts of steaks, vegetarian dishes, signature cocktails, award-winning wine list, and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

Daytime availability a MUST. (Lunch shifts are 10:30 am- 4:00 pm)
Proficient in all aspects of fine dining service.
Knowledge of food and beverage, as well as having a passion to cultivate these skills.
Display a confident and professional appearance.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
High school diploma preferred.
Ability to exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to 6-8 hours per shift, all the while maintaining a fun and positive attitude.
Must be able to carry about 40lbs.

To properly execute all necessary steps of service.
Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization at all times.
Provide exemplary customer service to all guests by applying knowledge of food and beverage menus.
Reporting on time and in proper uniform, always clocking in and out as required of all employees.
To respond positively to guests requests.
