About The Position
The Adolphus hotel, a Dallas hospitality icon for over a century, is seeking passionate individuals to join the team at its reimagined Rodeo Bar. The Rodeo Bar, originally opened in 1981, is reopening with a new menu, vibe, and private event space, while retaining its core "Texas grit and authenticity." This role involves being the face of the bar, providing exceptional guest experiences through warm hospitality, product knowledge, and efficient service.
Requirements
- Prior experience as a bartender is required
- An extensive knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine pairing options required
- A proactive and thoughtful nature
- Professional demeanor and thoughtful nature
Responsibilities
- Authentically acknowledge and welcome guests with emphatic and warm hospitality
- Remain curious and knowledgeable about all product and service standards in order to elevate each guest experience
- Maintain a level of efficiency excellence while keeping an eye on cleanliness and organization
- Remaining mindful of appropriate verbiage and demeanor with team members and guests at all times
- Responsible alcohol service is of top priority
