About The Position
At Main Event, our Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve up great food, drinks, and FUN for all Guests! As a Bartender, you have a knack for creating a welcoming environment and are relentless in providing our Guests with exceptional and timely service. You know the menu inside and out and can make great food and beverage suggestions. You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY? Walking into a Main Event is like entering a new world of lights, music, entertainment, and laughter. Every Guest is greeted by the genuine, glowing faces of Main Event Team Members as they see splashes of color and new opportunities to play. Each center is full of passionate, driven people who are serving others and making memories that bring to life our chef-inspired meals, full-service catering with private rooms, high-energy bar with the latest audio-visual technology, space for birthday parties for kids and adults, and party rooms for corporate, school, and league events. A trip to Main Event is a chance for the whole family to reconnect, celebrate, compete, eat, and play. When you’re with us, each and every moment together is the Main Event.
Requirements
- Must have 6 months of bartending experience
- Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests)
- Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
- 21+ years of age; Alcohol Certification, as required
- Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
- Availability to workdays, nights, and/or weekends
Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage with all guests while being an ambassador of FUN!
- Recommending menu items and ensuring order accuracy
- Showcasing your extensive beer, wine, and cocktail knowledge
- Delivering food and drinks in a timely manner and anticipating Guest’s needs
- Creating memorable experiences by providing exceptional service (You rock at creating a good time!)
- Adhering to local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies
- Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
- Maintaining a stocked, clean, and safe bar; completing side duties
- Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)
