About The Position

We are looking for a Part Time Bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. Requirements

Must adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Must check guests at the bar for proper identification.
Must detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops and secure bank.
Must perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
Must keep work area clean and organized.
Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.

Responsibilities

Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area.
Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
Sets up assigned bars, requisitions and stocks all necessary supplies.
Maintains stock, prepares, and stores garnishes, juices, and other perishables.
Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner.
Takes and processes drink orders, mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks.
Checks guests' identification for proper age verification.
Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained and demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies charges, and records transactions.
Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops.
Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards.
Keeps work area clean and organized.
Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display.
Washes and sterilizes stemware.
Performs other duties as assigned.
