About The Position

Buckner Retirement Services Community : Ventana by Buckner is seeking Bartenders to join their community committed to delivering outstanding service to their residents. As a Bartender, you will impact the lives of senior adults through serving members in the beautiful Dining area. The role aims to inspire happiness in the lives of others.

Requirements

• Requires completion of TABC certification course and attainment of TABC Bartender license.
• Requires ability to read, write and understand business documents which are written in English.
• Working knowledge of bartending, food handling, sequence of service.
• A friendly attitude and a servant’s heart.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum one-year related experience preferred, or appropriate formal education or Buckner training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for members in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Interact with members, take orders and serve drinks/snacks.
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
• Plan and present bar menu.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Stay member focused and nurture an excellent experience.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
