About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve food, drinks, and fun to guests. The role focuses on creating a welcoming environment and providing exceptional, timely service. Bartenders should know the menu and make helpful food and beverage suggestions while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.

The position requires at least six months of bartending experience and applicants must be at least 21 years old. Alcohol certification is required where applicable. Bartenders must follow company uniform standards, work effectively with a team, communicate with management, team members, and guests, and remain detail-oriented and composed in a fast-paced environment. Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required, subject to business needs.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with guests as an ambassador of fun.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate guests’ needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite guests to return.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and safe, and complete necessary side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Help create memorable guest experiences through teamwork and timely communication.
