About The Position

Provide friendly, courteous beverage service and beverage preparation. Ensure all bar guests meet age requirements for the purchase of alcohol and/or tobacco. Proper beverage pouring and dispensing polices. Cash and credit card handling. Requirements

Cash handling experience.
High volume bartending experience.
Minimum of (6) month’s customer service experience in a high volume operation required.
Ability to understand and comply with all departmental and company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Must pose excellent communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Ability to work flexible schedules.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
Valid driver’s license or state ID.
Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and the tribal gaming commission licensing.

Nice To Haves

Casino experience preferred.
Casino/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Acknowledge and greet all guests promptly.
Maintain a clean, stock and organize bar including beverage cups and glassware and food service supplies as specified.
Manage inventory and restock supplies.
Bar custodian responsibilities along with cleaning and maintains all food prep and display equipment.
Knowledge of POS system.
Knowledge of cocktail and drink terminology and preparation.
Insures correct cocktail/drink call list procedures.
Prepares and serves menu items as specified.
Provides service to guest ordering menu.
Promotes positive customer relations, greets guests and creates friendly atmosphere.
Handles cash, comps and credit transaction ensuring accuracy charges and returning the correct change.
Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policy and procedures.
Ensures safety, cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
Ability to describe all specials and meal items.
Ability to take orders efficiently.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
