About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for creating and ensuring a full filled, entertaining, and exciting environment. This role involves providing expertly mixed drinks to guests with fast, fun, friendly, fresh, and focused service, while taking orders and serving beverages. The position requires an outgoing personality and the ability to work effectively and efficiently with night club service personnel, while also complying with and enforcing alcohol awareness laws and procedures. Adherence to established company and departmental procedures, guidelines, and policies, including guest service, cash handling, sanitation, and organization, is crucial. The Bartender must promote positive team member and guest interactions, maintain professionalism, and adhere to uniform and grooming standards. Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked workstation, completing side work, cleaning, stock duties, and trash removal efficiently are also key responsibilities. Accurate reordering of distilled spirits and wines on a bottle-for-bottle basis and maintaining documented par levels are required, along with utilizing proper cash/change handling procedures.

Requirements

Must have three (3) years of previous bartending experience.
Must be able to stand and walk for up to 6-8 hours.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. occasionally.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
TIPS Certification preferred.

Communicates with and promotes positive team member and guest interactions and maintains professionalism at all times.
Maintains the established company uniform and well-groomed appearance and hygiene at all times.
Maintains a clean, sanitized, and well stocked work station and bar at all times.
Completes side work, cleaning, stock duties, and trash removal as assigned and in an efficient and timely manner.
Accurately reorders all distilled spirits and wines on a bottle for bottle basis and maintains documented par levels.
Utilizes proper cash/change handling procedures with the correct price of the drink.
