About The Position

Mack’s Bingo Kitchen is seeking a skilled, curious, and genuinely hospitality-driven bartender to help bring their bar program to life. This role is central to the restaurant's identity, focusing on a whiskey-forward, seasonally driven cocktail program rooted in Appalachia, using thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The bartender will own the bar program, work closely with the front-of-house team, and mentor Junior Crew members and server staff to build a beverage culture grounded in curiosity, high standards, and genuine pride in the craft. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge, warmth, and consistency to every shift, setting the tone through their cocktail building, guest engagement, and daily presence.

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Willingness and ability to commute to Wardensville, WV if necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Own the bar program and work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver an experience that reflects the restaurant's values.
  • Develop and execute a whiskey-forward, seasonally driven cocktail program rooted in Appalachia.
  • Utilize local ingredients and seasonal awareness in cocktail creation.
  • Mentor Junior Crew members and server staff, helping to build a beverage culture.
  • Engage guests with knowledge, warmth, and consistency.
  • Speak to the cocktail program, spirit selections, and local ingredients naturally, informed, and enthusiastically.
  • Maintain high standards in all aspects of bar operations, including drink preparation and guest interaction.
  • Ensure order accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Communicate proactively with the team and follow through on commitments.
  • Understand the menu deeply and share the story of local ingredients with guests.
