About The Position

The Lackman is now hiring a Bartender with 1-2 years of experience bartending in a high-volume bar. Work with us to make great money, have fun, and be part of an awesome team! The Lackman is a one of-a-kind bar experience. It is located on the first floor of the Lackman building, built by turn-of-the-century Cincinnati brewer Herman Lackman, and the bar’s signage reflects the original label he used on his beer bottles. It includes a full bar with a diverse beer selection including 14 beers on tap and over 30 bottled beers covering crafts, imports and domestics, as well as an eclectic wine selection. If you are a strong communicator, have a hospitality mindset, always bring your a-game, live for teamwork and love to spread positivity, work with us! You must embrace and help us carry out our passion to enhance neighborhoods by creating the most enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience bartending in a high-volume bar
• Craft cocktail experience is a must
• Knowledge of wine and beer styles and appropriate glassware
• Great communication skills
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• Must be proficient with POS systems
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two or more years of high-volume bartending experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays
