A Bartender is responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests of the bar and service bar, following standard recipes and company policies. They will merchandise drinks and be attentive to guests, making them feel welcome at all times. This role requires the ability to adhere to responsible alcohol service standards, including "slowing down" or cutting off intoxicated guests when necessary. The bartender will prepare beverages according to recipes, operate within state liquor laws and health codes, conduct cash and credit card transactions, and maintain glassware and utensils. A key part of the role is knowing the menu and making appropriate beverage and food recommendations based on guest needs.
