Prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. Adheres to state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations. Sets up assigned bars, requisitions and stocks all necessary items, and maintains stock. Prepares garnishes, juices, and other perishables. Greets guests, takes orders, mixes and serves drinks, and practices portion control. Checks guest identification and detects/acts upon guest inebriation. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws. Handles cash transactions, makes change, and verifies charges. Locks up and secures all beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops. Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards, keeping the work area clean and organized. Arranges bottles and glasses for an attractive display and washes/sterilizes stemware. Performs other duties as assigned.
