About The Position
Daddy O restaurant in LBI boosts a chic, modern and comfortable interior located only one block from the beach in a vintage seashore styled boutique hotel. The Restaurant menu offers American comfort food with modern creative twists in the dining rooms and outdoor garden patio. The full service energetic bar boasts specialty drinks and draft beer for festive Happy Hour Monday - Friday. The rooftop O Bar serves sushi and plenty of sunshine and views. Daddy O has two private dining rooms that are perfect for celebrations. Daddy O Hotel's 22 rooms offer a luxurious retreat with modern comfort and amenities within a block of the beach. A Daddy O Bartender will be an expert at welcoming our guests into our home with warmth, enthusiasm, and grace in this fast-paced, multi-faceted, neighborhood cafe. This candidate will have a desire to continue to learn and grow within our organization.
Requirements
- Be happy and constantly smiling!
- Be positive, a big personality, responsible, hands-on and a team player
- Have strong communication skills
- Can handle multiple tasks in a friendly manner with grace and composure
- Have a knowledge base of classic and creative cocktails
- 2+ years of bar experience
- Be able to lift 30 lbs
- Be able to speak fluent English

Responsibilities
- Welcome our guests with a friendly demeanor into our home
- Demonstrate competency in all steps of service
- Build knowledge of classic cookery, wine, beer, and cocktails
- Maintain accurate knowledge on all menu items and beverage program
- Provide genuine hospitality
- Interpret guest’s desires and bring them to life in liquid form
- Change a keg
- Card all guests under the age of 30 years
