About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast pace in the bar area of the Casino. Job includes completing guest transactions, cleaning the stock area, and maintaining inventory. Performing all other responsibilities as directed by the Bar Manager. Must be 21 years of age to work in the Bar area.

Requirements

• Excellent Customer Service
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Must have cash handling skills as well as basic math knowledge
• Pass and maintain a TIPS bartender certification
• Be able to supervise other employees or bar staff when needed.
• Must be 21 years of age to mix and serve drinks.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Check bar/tables for clean and proper set up prior to seating.
• Answer questions and make suggestions regarding beverage mixtures.
• Take beverage orders and explain any specials.
• Prepare beverage orders and take payment and process payment on POS.
• Stock and re-stock bar area as needed.
• Assist with end of month inventories.
• Assist in preparation of purchases to restock as needed.
• Follow all beer and alcohol serving instructions identified in the departmental policies and procedures.
