About The Position

Maxime’s is NYC’s newest private member’s club from entrepreneur Robin Birley. Maxime’s mission is to provide exceptional and discreet service for our members through unparalleled hospitality. Our aim is to make members feel as though they are in a private home, enjoying outstanding food and wine surrounded by stunning decor. We are seeking a talented Bartender to join our world-class hospitality brigade. Reporting to the Bar Manager, the Bartender will lead the bar atmosphere and culture of Maxime’s, executing the bar menu efficiently and accurately while building relationships with members, providing a level of service that exceeds guest expectations, and ensuring all staff work together as an effective team to deliver exceptional hospitality. You’ll be working as part of an established team delivering exceptional experiences daily. Requirements

  • Proven success as a Bartender within fine dining, Michelin-starred establishments, or luxury hotel settings.
  • Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with our recipes and specific techniques for members at the bar as well as the main dining room.
  • Ensures the ongoing excellence in quality of bar items as well as the efficiency of beverage ticket times.
  • Thrives in high-end environments, consistently upholding superior service standards and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Capable of operating autonomously with minimal oversight.
  • Maintains a professional, upbeat demeanor and embraces a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Operates at a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business.
  • Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment.

Nice To Haves

  • TIPS Certification preferred.
  • NYC DOH certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with restaurant POS and reservations systems is preferred.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems (Tevalis) required.
