About The Position

Pine Hills Golf Course is seeking a flexible and seasonal Bartender to join their team. This role involves attending training, adhering to policies, and working effectively with diverse individuals. The Bartender will be responsible for maintaining drink quality, processing transactions accurately, and ensuring responsible alcohol service. They will also engage with guests, maintain a clean environment, and handle inquiries efficiently. This position requires a commitment to the organization's goals and the ability to multitask and assist fellow associates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of six (6) months bartending experience preferred.
  • Completion of a Responsible Beverage Server class.
  • Basic knowledge of liquor products and drink recipes preferred.
  • Previous cash handling experience.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be flexible with schedule to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED is if you are 19 years old and under.
  • Basic knowledge of liquor products and drink recipes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Attending all required training sessions and adhering to established rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Participate in the employee random drug testing program and work effectively with individuals of diverse personalities.
  • Wear the approved departmental uniform and report to work reliably and punctually.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace policies and procedures, including answering and processing all incoming calls professionally.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality, consistency, and portion controls for all dispensed drinks.
  • Process monetary transactions accurately, adhere to revenue handling policies, and verify cash drawer daily.
  • Stay informed of beverage specials, promotions, and prices, and fulfill guest requests promptly.
  • Ensure responsible alcohol service, checking identification and monitoring for signs of intoxication.
  • Engage guests in conversation and address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and associates, and stock necessary supplies for service.
  • Be knowledgeable about the facility and handle guest inquiries efficiently.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the organization's goals and vision, and assist fellow associates as needed.
  • Prioritize and multitask effectively to ensure smooth operations.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned by management.
