About The Position

Pilar is hiring a Bartender with 2+ years of experience in a high-volume bar. The role involves working with a team to create enjoyable guest experiences in a fun, island-vibe establishment named after Ernest Hemingway's boat. Pilar serves ales and spirits, with a special menu featuring beers, creative cocktails, and daiquiris. The company's passion is to enhance neighborhoods by creating the most enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.

Requirements

2+ years of experience bartending in a high-volume bar.
Craft cocktail experience.
Knowledge of wine and beer styles and appropriate glassware.
Great communication skills.
Be a good teammate.
Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable.
Proficient with POS systems.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays.
Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state.

Nice To Haves

Some college preferred.
2 or more years of high-volume bartending experience preferred.
