About The Position

Join the team at Sedgebrook, a premier senior living community where hospitality, service, and community come together. This is not your typical bartending job. At Sedgebrook, you'll work in an upscale, resident-focused environment serving beverages in our Shoreline Lounge and dining venues while getting to know the residents and guests you serve every day.

Requirements

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Fine dining, restaurant, hotel, or club experience is a plus
• Outstanding customer service and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and hospitality-focused attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively with residents, guests, and team members
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to obtain BASSET certification within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Taking drink orders and answering questions about beverage selections
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area
• Preparing garnishes and snack trays
• Processing resident and guest charges through our point-of-sale system
• Reconciling cash transactions and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with inventory and restocking supplies
• Supporting dining room beverage service during meal periods
• Assisting with special events and catering functions as needed
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and sanitation
