About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused Bartender to join their team at the Rand Tower, Minneapolis, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel. The Bartender is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to guests through genuine connections and engaging service. This role requires understanding guest needs, preparing beverages accurately and efficiently, and maintaining a positive and quick-paced attitude. The position offers an opportunity for growth and learning within a world-class property.

Requirements

Current bartenders’ certification or appropriate license
Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology
Descriptive and sales-oriented
2-4 years of bartender experience
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests.
Understand the details to enhance conversation and guest experience.
Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution.
Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits.
Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank.
