About The Position
Bartenders at GMC Stadium are integral members of the Retail Food & Beverage team, responsible for creating positive encounters with guests and delivering consistent, memorable world-class experiences. This role involves professionally mixing, pouring, and serving beverages while adhering to all service standards and promoting Western Hospitality and Values. The expectation is to go above and beyond to ensure all guests feel especially welcome and valued. These positions are for the 10-day Stampede celebration in July.
Requirements
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- A minimum of 3 years bartending experience in a high volume setting is required.
- Must have a valid ProServe and FoodSafe certification.
- Must be available for afternoon or night shifts.
- A minimum of one year bartending experience in a high energy, fast paced environment.
- Ability to work will under pressure.
- Maintain a high standard of dress and conduct.
- Be 18 years of age or older by June 2026
- Be legally entitled to work for any employer in Canada
- Have a Social Insurance Number
- Have a bank account in their own name
- Must successfully participate in a criminal background check
- Be available to work for all 10 days of the Calgary Stampede
- Complete and comply with all required training and policies

Responsibilities
- Serve beverages in a prompt, courteous, and friendly manner.
- Provide responsible alcohol service.
- Responsible for handling cash, balancing, and inventory control.
