About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Beverage Manager, contributes to the efficient daily operation of Food & Beverage activities by mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests while maintaining high standards of cleanliness of each bar area, in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel. Maintains professionalism in all interactions with internal and external customers. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- One (1) year of bartending experience.
- Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain Food Handler’s, Food ServSafe, Alcohol ServSafe, and TIPS certifications.
- Must be able to submit supporting documentation of education and training to support qualifications.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to licensing rules and regulations.
- Pre-employment drug screen
- Personal reference check and employment verification
- Federal, State, and/or tribal criminal history backgrounds will be conducted

Responsibilities
- Verifies guest age for purchase of alcohol.
- Cleans glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
- Takes beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests.
- Mixes ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks according to established recipes and procedures.
- Maintains accountability of beverages served.
- Sets up, stocks, cleans, maintains, and breaks down work area.
- Processes payment from customers.
- Maintains bar inventory and supplies; places orders with outside vendors as directed.
- Provides excellent customer service for all internal and external customers.
- Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
