About The Position
Dire Wolf Tavern is Salem’s gathering spot — a lively, welcoming tavern serving craft cocktails, elevated pub fare, and a one-of-a-kind experience that blends the energy of Salem with a modern, friendly vibe. We’re looking for enthusiastic bartenders who are passionate about hospitality, teamwork, and great drinks. As a Bartender at Dire Wolf Tavern, you’ll craft high-quality beverages, engage guests with warm, attentive service, and help create a fun, memorable atmosphere. You’ll work alongside a passionate team that values creativity, consistency, and a love for great food and drink.
Requirements
- 3+ years of bartending experience required.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and beer/wine.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Must be 21+ years of age and TIPS certified (or willing to obtain certification).
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
- Support team members during peak hours to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
