About The Position

Responsible for providing a positive and friendly bar experience. Prepares and provides mixed drinks, beer and wine offerings, as well as full dining service from the restaurant. Our friendly team at PJ’s is looking to add energetic and experienced Bartenders with knowledge of contemporary cocktails, beer, and wine and we want you to join us. Requirements

Age requirement of 21+ required
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
Must be able to obtain a certification on responsible beverage service.
Have or be in the process of attaining a bartender's license
Excellent oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Strong communication and human relations skills
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Nice To Haves

Previous bartending experience preferred

Responsibilities

Greets guest, takes beverage orders, and prepares drinks as requested.
Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and promotes a positive image of Sentry facilities.
Maintain a high-level of knowledge in wine, beer, mixed drink recipes, and other beverages.
Check identification of guests to verify the age requirement for purchase of alcohol.
Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
Prepare and maintain freshest garnishes for drinks.
Offer and service the full restaurant menu to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
Abides by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
Collects payments for beverages served and balance all receipts
