About The Position

Handcrafted beverages are an essential part of an authentic Italian dining experience. As a bartender, you must demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional guest service. As an Olive Garden bartender, you must master alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage recipes to meet and exceed guest expectations. In addition, as a bartender, you will ensure various guest and team member touch points are regularly sanitized and disinfected so that our guests enjoy a safe and friendly experience that makes them feel like they are part of our family. One key to our success is the high standards we set for ourselves and each other. That includes placing the health and safety of our team members and guests as a top priority. We are committed to the highest safety and sanitation practices, including ensuring team member wellness and maintaining clean restaurants.

Requirements

  • Provincial Responsible Alcohol Service certification
  • Excellent communication, social and organizational skills
  • Team oriented with the ability to build and foster positive relationships
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Energetic, self-confident and positive attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • previous experience as a bartender in a high volume casual dining restaurant

Responsibilities

  • Guide Guests with their beverage selection and recommend offerings
  • Prepare all beverages to brand standards
  • Maintain bar cleanliness and brand appearance
  • Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies and procedures outlined in the Health and Safety program
  • Manage aggregator and take out sales
  • Be a “know it all” about our regular promotional food and beverage menus.
  • Provide a welcoming smile and genuine hospitality
  • Get to know our Guests and enhance their personal experience, while flawlessly executing our steps of service to brand standards
  • Process Guests orders and payments in a timely manner
  • Provide responsible alcohol service to all Guests
  • Abide by Food Safety regulations, food handling procedures and best practices
