About The Position

We have exciting opportunities available. We are hiring Staff for Fan Fest. Once this event is over, additional employment opportunities are available at our 2 sports venues (Shell Energy Stadium and Toyota Center.) Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in bar area in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.

Requirements

Must be able to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
Must be able to set up assigned bars; requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.
Must be able to maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Must be able to greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
Must be able to take and/or process orders for drinks; mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practice prudent portion control.
Must be able to check guests at the bar for proper identification.
Must be able to detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained.
Must demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Must be able to receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed.
Must be able to lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secure bank.
Must be able to perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keep work area clean and organized.
Must be able to arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
Must be able to wash and sterilize stemware.

Responsibilities

Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.

Maintains stock, prepares, cures and stores all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality.
Greets guests in a courteous, friendly manner.
Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control.
Checks guests at the bar for proper identification.
Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws.
Receives cash from guests, makes change, verifies validity of charges, records charges and ensures vouchers are properly executed.
Locks up and stores all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops; secures bank.
Performs general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeps work area clean and organized.
Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area.
Washes and sterilizes stemware.
Performs other duties as assigned.
