About The Position
Kentucky Downs is looking for seasonal experienced bartenders for the Kentucky Downs Live Race Meet. This role offers a front-row seat to competitive live races and provides lunch daily. There is a possibility for full-time hire at The Mint Gaming Hall based on eligibility.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must possess a S.T.A.R certification or obtain prior to start.
- Must be able to lift up to 30lbs.
- Must be able to work outside in hot or cold temperatures.
- Must be able to move in and around work area throughout the entire workday.
- Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to repeat the same movements.

Responsibilities
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
- Interact with guests, take orders, and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Adhere to all responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Work outside in various weather conditions.
- Lift up to 30lbs.
- Move and navigate the work area throughout the workday.
- Stand or walk for extended periods.
- Repeat movements as necessary.
