About The Position

The Bartender is responsible for providing an exceptional drinking experience by preparing and serving a variety of beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. The role involves engaging with customers to enhance their experience, managing inventory, and adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a bartender in a high-volume establishment.
Proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a hospitality environment.
Experience in preparing a wide variety of cocktails and beverages.
Strong knowledge of mixology, including classic and contemporary cocktail recipes.
Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
Proficiency in handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as kegs and cases of beverages.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to provide excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning up spills.
Manage bar inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies as needed.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist in the development of new cocktail recipes and promotions.
Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation of the bar.
Monitor and manage patrons to prevent overconsumption of alcohol and ensure a safe environment.
