About The Position

Responsible for the beverage service to Beverage/Food Servers in an assigned service station ensuring efficient and prompt service for restaurant customers. This role involves the mixing and serving of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures, maintaining a clean bar station, and understanding relevant regulations like the Dram Shop Act and gaming/beverage regulations. The Bartender also participates as a team member with other beverage staff and company employees to ensure operational standards and maintains a consistent attendance record.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two to three years previous experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
• Frequently required to stand and walk.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures.
• Mixing and serving beverages in a service station capacity to Beverage/Food Servers in a prompt and efficient manner.
• Receiving, issuing, and keeping necessary records of liquor store and supplies.
• Maintaining a neat and clean bar station on a continual basis.
• Understanding the Dram Shop Act and bartenders responsibilities and rights under it.
• Understanding all Gaming and beverage regulations.
• Participating as a team member with all Beverage Servers, Barbacks, utilities, Supervisors and any pertinent Company Employees to ensure efficient operational standard.
• Maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
• Other duties as assigned.
